"But I don't think JD has a recipe for that!" But her pleas fall on an empty courtroom. Everyone had left and gone over to the Klub for a sustaining diet rootbeer and snacks. "And furthermore," KS says louder, just to hear her own voice, "I didn't injure CW!"
There's a a cackle of laughter behind her. KS whips out her .45 Magnum and turns around. The mystery man grins and puts his hands up high. "I give up!"
"Oh, it's you," KS grumbles, putting the gun away. "Whoever you are."
"Guilty until proven innocent," the man informs her, pointing his gunfinger at her forehead and pretending to pull the trigger. "You're going to have to prove you didn't injure CW's hands."
"But she had carpal tunnel surgery! I didn't have anything to do with it! You should have Aunt Madge down here on the carpet."
"Riiiiight. Don't tell me you weren't Aunt Madge's assistant."
"I can't watch any of those surgery shows on cable. That should tell you something," KS grumps. Honestly, how could anyone believe that innocent ol' her could hurt somebody enough to put them in gauze bandages?
"Do you or do you not own a scalpel?"
"I don't have to answer that!" KS says shrilly. "Court isn't in session." She fingers the scalpel in her artillery belt, hoping it's hidden from view. Oops, she cut herself. She wipes the blood off on her cami pants.
"I rest my case." The man grins thinly at her and quickly exits before she can throw anything at him. KS decides right there and then that she must root out the evidence that CW had surgery!
