Stardoe ponders the latest events. Standards certainly have declined during her lengthy absence. Bubba has become a Cardinal O'Fallon wannabe. The rest are acting mighty strangely thinking Stardoe to need some kind of treatment. She goes down into the cellar, through the secret tunnel to her Shipperlair and into her laboratory.
"Aha! I knew it. Someone has been tampering with the delicate balance in my cloning tanks. Those ratbags!!!They don't know what they've done!...or do they?????"
There in each tank where the spare Red Speedoes and Dancing Danas used to be Stardoe makes a terrible discovery.
"Nowonder I didn't recognise DD up on that screen. I've been subtly brainwashed to believe that he actually looks like.......Oh my god! Richard Geer? Tanks and tanks of Richard Geer with his hair died brown of course. And, oh no! All the Dancing Dana tanks are filled with 47yr old brunettes with only the faintest touch of red, big mouths and lots of lines around their, oh no....brown eyes."
Before Stardoe left, someone had been tampering with the DNA of the clones and oh so gradually changing their appearance so that Stardoe did not notice. All this time Stardoe thought she was seeing DD and GA clones, the subtle changes gradually being imprinted on her brain. All the Shippervillians or rather, ShipperVILLANS have been in on it she thinks. Or at least one of them. AS she left Shipperville she had the new appearances embedded into her brain and therefore could not identify or recognise the real DD or RSreview who had never been changed.
Stardoe turns slowly to the bank of monitors on her wall and observes the citizens of Shipperville going about their daily business. Kande watering down the root beer. Bubba in his cell trying to destroy the fake dead sea scrolls he had hidden under his priest get-up. Kenamom in her office writing out fake violations to increase her revenue. Islandgirl sitting morbidly amongst a pile of screwed up blank sheets of paper. Rabid sound alseep in the deserted library not even bothering to dust off the cobweb laden Fan fic shelves. KS sharpening her tools of trade and muttering on about letters. CW stuffing balls of high grade merino wool into her knitting bag from Stardoe's bank vault of valuable Australian artifacts. Everyone looking very cool calm and collected, but one of them is guilty....which one?
