I see how worried Mulder looks. I suspect he is dealing with how much he cares for Scully and maybe, just maybe, he realizes how important she is to him. Also, just the fact that she turned to him for strength and comfort just shows me how much she needs him. This embrace really is a powerful statement of their unstated need for each other--on all levels.

Thanks for the info--Donnie Pfaster was one insane dude who didn't get anybetter in his so-called incarceration rehab. What a sad commentary on the state of our penal system and the failure to identify and retain severely mentally ill inmates. Watching the news stories which deal with this topic just makes me sick. I don't know that I have the so-called answer--I just wish there was a way to keep close tabs on folks like Donnie Pfaster!
