"a boarding house might be just the ticket for this town, I hear Scully has invited her family in for Christmas. And you know what heppens when Mulder and her brother see each other."
Bubba pulls out his notepad and begins to make lists at the Mayors direction. Scully99 looks a little perplexed.
"Did you say Scully and Mulder.....they are here? That can't be.....didn't they escape...." she gasps for air and dramatically brings a hand to her chest. "You mean they are HERE....in Shipperville?"
"yes, of course dear. Where else would they be?" CW nods as her knitting needles fly.
"Only because the beach houses in Noromotown were all bookedup, and Scully didn't want to be far from me" kande pipes up.
"rrriiiggghhhttt" the townspeople chorus.
The Mayor tut tuts kande's assertion with a delicate flick of the wrist and gets back to the party planning. She takes a sip from her solid gold mug with the names 'MINISOTTA' boldly engraved on its side. She begins to swing her keys that hang from her neck on a delicate thread of black, embroidered numerous times with bubba's image. :Now, all gifts must be presented to me by noon on the 24th so I have time to exchange them before I officially open them on Christmas morning.......we need a tree, a BIG tree. With lots of room under for all my gifts."
"I am assuming the party will be here again Mayor?" kande asks while searching through a catalogue. Wishing she had listened to her sister and done her shopping earlier.
"Of course, make sure you have plenty of iced tea on order too"
The Mayor claps her hands together as Bubba runs around giving everyone their assignment for the Christmas party.
"Now hurry everyone, we only have ten days to get ready"
