KM holds up a hand to stop the singing and halt Kande in her dazed stroll towards the Dancin' Dana's. Everyone stops and looks at the Mayor.

"CW, I thought I ordered a 5-layer chocolate cake," KM says in a loud voice.

"You did, your Mayoress." CW stands in front of the Mayor, her knees knocking together. "I baked it myself and knitted the platter holding it all together."

"Then where's the other layer?" KM thunders, glaring at the 4-layer cake in front of her.

*Burp.* The crowd turns around and stares at KS who is lying with the top button of her cami's undone against the bleachers. Her usually taut tummy appears as a little round ball straining against her pants. "Oops."

Kande glares at her, then shrugs and turns to eye the Dancin' Dana's strategically placed frosting. "Dibs on all the frosting!" The crowd roars with laughter, the music resumes, and the balloons are released from the ceiling.

"It's just like a prom," Rabid exclaims, popping one of the balloons with her eyetooth. "Kande must be reclaiming her youth." The band starts to play "Stairway from Heaven."
