CW stood up,slightly dizzy but upright anyhow, and slowly left the club. Frowning at a thought, she went back home and started rewinding a pile of tapes from that day.

"Just where did those two disappear to?" she wondered. "I hope they haven't been down in those tunnels--of course, that's where they went. I hope they didn't touch any of the walls!"

Meanwhile Detoured and SMH were both safe for now--Detoured's magic cape managed to counteract the evil effects of the tunnel's walls. "Too bad I couldn't get to Rabid soon enough. At least she is only a vampire--I shudder to think of what would have happened if I hadn't gotten to her when I did."
