I don't know that much about genetic transference but I do know that when you put foreign cell matter into another body--even from a close relative, there is always the chance of Host Vs. Graft problems which require anti-rejection drugs. I still think that they put computer chip implants into Gibson and Mulder that will send their thoughts to a receiver in CSM's head. Too bad those two can't get together and using some sort of psychokinetic powers, blow up CSM's brain--similar to what happened in "Drive". Of course this is TV and anything goes which makes it fun to watch and wonder what's next!
