Thanks for posting this Deb. This would have been the first page I flipped to if I had this book in my hands.

But weigh that against the coroner's report, which showed that he was suffering from pleurisy, an enlarged heart and a diseased liver."


WTF? Keith is actually dredging up the old "deathbed confession" that we all know was retracted years ago. Secondly, this is the first mention of Quaaludes that I can recall. While he's at it, throw the asthma thing in there and the whole coroner's "misadventure" report into the batter for good measure.

Except for Fitzy hiding in the bushes, Keith has cobbled together everything into one big mishmash. Un-fucking-believable!


"I can imagine the scenario of Brian being so obnoxious to Thorogood and the building crew he had working on Brian's house that they were just pissing around with him. He went under and didn't come up. But when somebody says "I did Brian," at the very most I'd put it down to manslaughter. All right, you may have pushed him under, but you weren't there to murder him. He pissed off the builders, whining son of a bitch. It wouldn't have mattered if the builders were there or not, he was at the point in his life when there wasn't any."

Translation: "Brian had it coming, surprised it took so long".

Even if Brian was indeed a total raging asshole as Keith has asserted, it doesn't justify killing him, purposely or not. Since when is being an asshole a capital offense, Keith?

The audacity of Brian pissing off workers in his own home.

Forty plus years later, Keith still hates Brian with a passion and a then some. Now Keith has come right out and set the record straight about something that some of us here have suspected all along, no pulling punches this time.

Personally, I have no respect whatsoever for a warm-blooded guy like Keith who could even rationalize someone killing Brian for any reason. And to think that this guy is idolized and is a hero to many people.
