Here's some qoutes and comments that Brian made,maybe you have already heard them,some you may not have,but i think you might find them interesting-post you thoughts if you like-thanks.

July 1st 1964-'Some groups give performances.we have a rave.A mad,swaying,deafing,sweating half-hour of tension and excitment which gives us just as big a kick as the kids'-Brian Jones.


April 20th 1965-'I play alot of lead guitar and I am not really interested in rhythm guitar.Rhthym guitar ia a very functional instrument,and it's a drag.In the Stones we have two lead guitar patterns going and we never use straight rhythm guitar as in the old shadows days. we also use a heavy bass pattern....a Chuck Berry thing. if we have got two guitars we might as well use them to full advantage'-Brian Jones.

March 25th 1966-'I've no delusions about being bigger than the Beatles-you musy understand that the Beatles are a phenomenon'-Brian Jones.

April 6th 1966-'I've been insulted by more Texans than anyone else in the world'-Brian Jones.

1966-'Censorship is still with us in a number of ugly forms,but the days of when men like Lenny Bruce and artist Jim Dine are prosecuted is coming to an end.Young people are measuring opinions with new yardsticks and it must mean greater individual freedom of expression.Pop music will have it's part in all of this.When certain american folk artists with importatnt messages to tell are no longer suppressed maybe we will arrive nearer the truth. the lyrics of Satisfaction were subjected to a form of critcal censorship in America.this must go. Lennon's recent piece of free speece(Beatles more popular than Jesus)was the subject of the same bigoted thinking. But the new generation will do away with all this-I hope'-Brian Jones.
