Subject: The Funniest Brian Story I ever Heard!

I forget where I first Heard this story, but It comes from a reliable music business source If I remember correctly. One time the Stones were in New York,and a record called "Have I the Right" by the Honeycombs, which is one of the funniest records ever made was keeping the Stones out of the Number 1 spot, so Brian called the radio station and told the dj to play this 45 on 78, which he did and the following week The Stones were number one. Brian and a lot of people must have found this hysterical..Every time I think of that record I have to laugh. Ive seen many films of Brian laughing, even on stage when the girls were attacking Mick. A lot of the Rolling Stones records with Brian on them seemed to have a great sense of humor..think of "Down Home Girl" or "My Obesssion"..The Stones were being funny long before the Beatles. Even "Jumpin Jack Flash" is funny when you think of them singing "Shit's a gas gas gas". Once Brian Left They became way too serious. Does anyone agree? Lots of love,
