Hi Roxanne! yes I've been into guitar and music electronics for like 30 years-I just thought Brian was the coolest rock starin the mid 70's-yes Brian was and always will be my first rockstar hero(grins)-and I was luckly to have older brothers who brought all the stones and beatles Lp's when they came out and played them over and over-while i was only 9 when Brian died I can still remember when each lp came out-I remember playing in a sandbox at the park when I was 10 and the music I was playing in my head was the Who'Live at leeds'-talk about great sandbox music(LOL)and besides Brian I got really into Jimi Hendrix and just had this obsession to wish i could make my guitar sound like his-my pedals are modeled after the pedals jimi used at Woodstock and Band of Gypsies-like my megavibe which is modeled after the uni-vibe pedal that made jimi's guitar sound like having a liquid like underwater sound that you can hear on jimi's star spangled banner and machine gun-now there's many pedal maker's and anyone can make a pedal but very few can make em where they really sound like the real thing or like the record- anotherwords pedals that have the sound not just kinda sorta like many digital pedal or so called clones when they claim their's is the best or most authentic-I don't claim that any of my pedals are the best-anyone and their dog can claim that,I just let my pedals speak for themselves.you can see from my website the list of famous player's using my pedals-I am getting famous for the sound quality of my pedals and my goal is to make pedals that would be worthy of what jimi would have used-i get emails from musician's saying are youn sure that you're not putting jimi dna mojo into your pedals(grins)I am really honored but I believe that one has to live it in whatever they do in life,the thing I learned from Brian and Jimi is that they weren't satisfied with being average-they lived what they did and were extraordinary in what they did but they didn't think that they were it or god's gift-anotherwords they walked the walk where many just talk the talk(LOL).I am honored to have known Jimi dad Al from 95 till he passed away in 2002-he was such a down to earth person-I miss his friendship today.Yes money can change people and make one happy to a point and I'm not rich but I feel rich in the responses from musician about my pedals but it's like are they talking about me? I can understand when George Harrison said that when the Beatle would see themselves on tv or read about them that it's seemed like it was about someone else(grins).
