Well, this here shot of him in an invisible chair (!) and his purple coat (I guess he got cold) show against black boots and black cuffs that those jeans are BLUE!! Jeans weren't the end-all be-all of fashion in those days. I only had one pair then!

P.S. This picture originally showed him with such red and puffy eyes that I sort of air-brushed them out because they made him look like he hadn't slept in a month (maybe he hadn't!).
