Right I'm off to the Black Country (UK Midlands) in search of Jim. It's funny I was just talking to my American pal about Coventry, another Black Country city. I have a few American pals, in fact one in every state who I talk to on a regular basis. Actually not every state. I'm not connected verbally to anyone in Arkansas. So if you know anyone who's a sweetheart from that state it would be nice to put that elusive 50th state to bed.
You missed out other land of Birmingham alumni such as:- half of Zepp, all of Black Sabbath, some of Deep Purple and Moody Blues. I think you'll also find that there are/were a high percentage of rock drummers came from the Black Country.
Oh, when I find Jim, I'll not mention you directly. I couldn't bear to think of a fractured you!
