Lol, you would not recognize their names. They were both with U.S.O.---Mom was a tap dancer and a Rockette. And Dad was a singer/songwriter and a comedian. They both had partners and they worked with a lot of famous people back then---BEFORE they became so famous! lol Or after...Doris Day, Dean Martin, Joey Bishop----people like that. And Dad worked with Bela Lugosi {"Dracula"} and he was definitely NOT on the way "up" in his career...lol

When we lived in So. Cal, they met up with old show biz friends, and we ended up mingling in some of the Hollywood "circles". We were good friends with Mike Landon and his first wife and kids. I was totally in love with him. lol And we hung out with other Bonanza guys--Dan Blocker and Lorne Greene, mostly. And also people like Doug McClure and Lloyd Bridges---a lot of actors who were in Westerns. It was an interesting childhood...:)

I used to love to sit and watch old movies on TV with my parents. They would always see people they used to work with, and say stuff like "Remember when we worked with him at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City? That was a crazy show!" :)

So, they were ALMOST famous---like a lot of other hopefuls in the fringes of show biz in the good old days...:)
