You are right, even the average person off the street that has practically no understanding "The Rolling Stones",
or the dynamics of the power structure of the band, eg. My sister, will make occasional comments like Wow! Keith Richards Looks Like Hell. He must have done a boat load of drugs.
He has made it to the "Public Domain" As a Whaked out, Drugged out, Decrepid "Old Rock Star". And he has held that title for at least 25yrs. The butt of many of jokes on "Late Night Talk Shows", "The Undead". oh well much of that is true, but I still beleive there is a little bit more to Keith than just that.
