The Rolling Stones want you to forget Brian ever existed. They wouldn't honor him in any big way if their lives depended on it...well, maybe if their lives DID depend on it. Didn't you know there's a gag order on former Stones members and compatriots to not ever talk about Brian? Bill Wyman told a reporter it was part of his "contract" for leaving the Stones that he never talk to anyone about the band's early days or Brian Jones. This fact is the reason your's truly was totally amazed when Keith Richards was asked recently what was the most regrettable event in the history of the band, and he replied "the death of Brian Jones". This is a serious departure from his earlier statement of "Brian Jones is the LAST person I'd want to see return from the dead! He was an absolute asshole!!" Something has occurred recently to alter his view of his mentor. Just saying.
