I can't stand Rawlings voice or how he delivers second hand information about Brian with such confidence. He never says, 'I've been told' or 'I heard'. It's always, 'Brian didn't ever sleep in his bed, he just crashed in whatever room he passed out in'. Or worse still, 'Brian Jones had to have more than anyone'. I think he qualified this statement by saying something bizarre like, 'Jones would want more tomato's if he thought you had more than him'.

You'd think he might come up with something either worth bitching about or something associated with Brian. Like, 'Brian would always want to have the best clothes' or 'Brian would want better carpet in his house than Keith had'. It is amazing the lack of quality and content to be found in Brian books, but I guess you gotta keep reading them and try and piece together the fragments of truth to assess what the real Brian was really like at any one given point in time!

Linda's Jim told her Brian wasn't phazed by Jim touching his stage guitar and Old Spice, and I'm sure all and sundry were borrowing or given stuff from Brian's wardrobe, so it hardly depicts some selfish little bastard who wanted to keep all of his toys and not share with anyone.
