Ok Delilha , since you are a female, would you shower your affections on a ugly man, if he was a musician, was very popular, kind of, on the world stage. when he dies you get all his bar tabs, and what's left of his money?

Hmmm... since this is a hypothetical question, I can only give a hypothetical answer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (a cliche, but a very true one). But I'd like to think that I would have more sense than to shower my affections on such a man, whether drop-dead gorgeous or ugly as sin. I pride myself on being independent.

I guess it would all depend on the circumstances. When it comes to musicians, I make a point of separating the music from the man. It sure helps to accept all the inflated egos, and the addictions too.
