I still think that Brian and Bill basically had this song written {not lyrics} by the time M&K showed up at the studio. I love Brian's parts in this song! I remember, at first, being a bit puzzled when I read how much Brian loved this song, as he wasn't too thrilled with what the band was putting out after they left their blues roots. When I read the part he had in creating the song, I understood why he liked it so much! It's flat out rock, and it's a fantastic song!
