Bernie:

Thank you for your kind words. Here's wishing you and yours the most wonderful holidays. Don't fret, we all still care. It's just hard to find a "subject" to discuss when so little is going on with Brian these days.

I hope you read Lazlo's report on Anna W., a sad lady who lives in a world only she created. Most people feel that nothing she says happened at Cotchford actually DID happen the way she perceived it. She seems to have failed to notice that she and Brian were NOT actually "lovers", and that she was trespassing in his house...uninvited and not really all that welcome. If we believe Old Spice, he was getting ready to toss her out when he died.

Speaking of Cotchford, I've discovered that the fans of Winnie the Pooh are so aggressive about demanding to see the estate garden that no one wants to buy the place for a private residence. People these days want privacy, and the history of the estate brings all sorts of folks milling around the outside. The present owners never minded, and everyone knows how Brian loved visitors, but they're exceptions. It should be marketed to historical societies and kept as a museum...complete with docent...but that's just my opinion.
