Hmmmm. Actually, I've missed that tack on who Marianne liked the most. I don't remember ever hearing she was even interested in Keith at all (sorry about that), but today she only says kind things about Brian 100% of the time, and only half-heartedly on the other two.

Actually, I was given the article to read by a guy (nope, I don't usually read Playboy either) who knew I liked Brian Jones. I believe (I'm not positive) that it was the March issue last year. The article was called "The Rise and Fall of the First Rock Star". I was charmed that they called him the "First Rock Star", since he was the first rock star I ever saw in person. He was wearing horrific sunglasses and shiny lipstic (Ugh!) and was playing a Fender Telecaster on the title page.

They weren't all that nice to him in the artcle, and called him "the demon with an angel's face", and said he had the morals of an alley cat. Charming...as though no other rock star was like that. Sure. They also emphasized his "heavy drug use". I think the short quote by Marianne was to ballance out their presentation of him. I don't recommend it to anyone who's looking for any real information on Brian.
