No offense but……why do you still have a relationship with your Mother? You have to ask yourself “if this person wasn’t related to me, would I tolerate how she treats me?” It may be hard at first but eventually you’ll see how much better things are when you cut off someone who is a negative and toxic influence. You’re an adult and can choose who to have or not have in your life; don’t let anyone tell you “but she’s your Mother”.

Perhaps I’m just projecting my own Mother issues on you.
