Are you okay George? You sounded very upset, and I could have written your post myself. The idea that this man must be demonized and discredited, whereas everyone else back then who did the same sort of things have everything they did swept under the rug, is what keeps me in this group.

If he merely had a spell and zoned out in the pool, drowning himself like some think, what gives with all this hokum?? Somebody has something to hide, but who and why? And what's with the Sussex Police not wanting to "spend the public's money", as they told Trevor Hobley? If the British public is willing to spend millions for a Royal Wedding, why not spend a few thousand to find out exactly what happened to one of their most notorious rock stars, espcially since his family want's to know? Curious.

Scapegoatism is easy when everyone else is cooperating with you, and the person stipulated is dead and gone. The question for me is why is the obviously talented and awesome Mick Jagger so determined to step on the memory of the unfortunate little man who essentially taught him everything he knows about being awesome? Ego??? Nobody's ego is that big, not even Mick Jagger's...or am I wrong about that?
