Lewis was born in the Bridgend district in 1914. Louisa in South Wales in 1918. According to Mandy Aftel's book, Linda Lawrence said both of his parents seemed to be very disappointed with Brian with his career and life in 1963/1964, when she met them, though Lewis did show a bit of interest and seemed a bit warmer out of the two.
