Free speech can be a biased attack or SNL making a poop joke. Content doesn't matter. CBS can cave in if they want to but what about next time? Maybe some other political or ethnic group will object to another mini-series & will now expect the material to be withdrawn. And before you know it, there will be no challenging content on TV or radio or on the web.

Not one of the conservatives who complained saw the mini-series. Perhaps they are right but so what? Go fund your own Reagan biopic that says he's the second coming. I've seen plenty of JFK biopics that say he was womanizing and working with the Mafia but no one ever forced it off the air. If they want to make a Clinton movie that savages him (& he deserves it on some points), I'll object to dissortions but not demand it not be shown.

And I wasn't comparing Reagan to Hitler, just mentioning both mini-series by CBS were given flack & even had their content changed as a result. Guess the media is not so liberal as you might think. (You know, I consider Mulder a liberal)

Do you think Mel Gibson's Passion of Christ movie shouldn't be shown? The film has been accused of being anti-semetic.
