Wow. This episode had a lot to digest. So essentially the entire first part of this season has been a ruse. The virus, while it does exist, was never in danger of being released on Los Angeles. Hm.

I was thinking about Kyle Singer. What exactly was the point of him being "infected"? I mean, did Jack make that up? I mean, I know he made it up...but what I mean is, did he make that up only after the bag of "virus" busted open? I seem to remember him looking horrified as the powder blew around in the breeze from the fan. Here we thought he was looking horrified because the virus was being released, but in reality he was afraid they'd realize that it was harmless and he wouldn't be able to break Salazar out of jail. So he just decides, Hey! Kyle Singer is the one who's infected! Is he the one who deduced that? I wish I had the back episodes on tape, I'd like to watch it knowing what I know now. But wait....why was Kyle put in that big glass conatiner then? Was this just poor writing? Or was Kyle the plant the entire time? And wouldn't Salazar's men KNOW that Kyle wasn't infected by the virus? It all seems a little sketchy.

(As I'm typing this I'm watching a rerun of Law and Order: SVU from a few years ago and the actor who plays Michelle is on it as a lawyer!)

Once again, the Palmer plotline is a snoozefest. Even a suicide can't spice up that horrific plot. Palmer officially got on my nerves, even, in this episode. He's so filled with righteous anger all the time. I think he needs to get over himself. I understand that he feels foolish for having been deceived, but honestly, does the President really know every decision that's made by the heads of his different departments? I mean, he trusts them, that's why they are where they are.

I was really annoyed with what they did with Michelle in this episode. I mean, I'm not a wife so maybe I can't comment on how I'd feel, but give Tony a break! In my old job I interacted with people who had security clearances so high that their spouses didn't even know what they did for a living. Being in the same situation herself, Michelle should understand that Tony couldn't tell her about it. But instead they write her as this insecure wife who just can't tell when her husband is hiding something. Poor Poor Michelle. It made me SO mad! SO SO mad.

Bad Ass Jack is back. He was ready to kill Chase! I'm hoping he realized that there weren't any bullets in the gun. I've never held a gun, but I'd imagine it feels differently without bullets, and hopefully Jack could tell. although honestly, I think he rather kill Chase than blow the cover. Then they'd both be dead. Imagine Jack going back to Kim, "I'm sorry, honey, but I had to kill your boyfriend. But hey! Now we have something in common!"

I'm gonna comment on the previews for after the hiatus, but I'll leave room for those (detoured) who don't watch.

Who is the other virus bidder? Is it Nina? Could it be? Woo Hoo! It has to be! I guess the bad guys from last season (and perhaps the first) are still around as Nina worked for them. And it Michelle is questioning Tony's competency? Is it because she's upset that he didn't tell her about Jack going back undercover? Could she be so petty? I hope not. I'd hate to see her character destroyed like that. Tony showed signs of still being seriously hurt in the episode, maybe she's just looking out for his health. I don't know. I like Michelle a lot. I hope they don't turn her into someone I hate.
