Good stuff here although you're observations are right. Jack & Hector must have known the whole Kyle Singer thing was a fake out. Jack had to act shocked in order to convince everyone else this was serious sh*t. Putting Kyle into the chamber...going a little far (especially if Kyle had killed himself). Poor writing? This show has it in droves but it gets by on performances and energy.
I think Jack might have seen Ramon fiddle with the gun in order to know it wasn't loaded when he pulled the trigger on Chase. The weight thing is correct too. I was on a movie set in which we fired blanks. The guns used are real guns (I think they are altered so real ammo won't work). We used a Sig Sauer automatic, without the clip in it-it is much lighter. Blanks are louder than real shots. One actress who had to fire one was traumatized.
Michelle seems to think she's inner circle enough to have been trusted. I think her future conflict is that Chappelle will push to relieve Tony due to his injuries. So if Tony/Michelle break up-blame Chappelle.
Palmer is always the only honest man in a corrurpt world. Everyone opposing him & helping him is up to no good. He really shouldn't trust anyone ever again. One wonders how the public would look at Palmer when he has had so many shake ups in his staff. Has Bush fired anyone since he took office?
I bet Palmer's girlfriend will be framed for killing her ex.
Someone not shown is at the big meet next time. Nina got her release for her cooperation last season. And now Jack can't be tracked, nice job Chase!
