I think maybe it means he can lead a team like Catherine but I don't think he's on the level of Grissom. Wasn't Warrick promoted in the first season as well? Seems to me that he is on a higher level than Nick because at one point Nick was passed over before for something in favor of Warrick.

I know some things you touch can cause skin allergies (I have one to fleece) but I thought peanuts only was from eating them. You learn so much from CSI! lol
