The "museum" that was bombed in the pilot & set all this in motion is in fact the main branch of the NY Public Library located at 5th Avenue & 42nd St. The hotel I worked at for coughcough14yearscough was just around the corner. I guess they OKed using the exterior if they changed what it actually is.

There's a very nice park just behind the library that looks like it belongs in Paris with a fountain, green folding chairs, a cafe, outdoor movies shown in summer for free. It was a drug dealer infested eye-sore up until the 90s when Guilani had the area re-done. I lived near Times Square & used to have a porno store directly across the street. Now it's a brand new hotel & all the porno/strip clubs are gone. I'll give Rudy credit but he is a bit of a "I'm always right, shut up if you don't agree with me" type.
