I never could get into Prison Break but watched Invasion. I do think that it can go another year and depending on what they do to the storyline, maybe one more. When they leave you hanging like they did in Invasion, one more season seems like a sure thing.
Yes the aliens are here--they are those orange things in the water. there were more who fell from the sky during the hurricane. I'm not sure if they came from the sky originally as we didn't see any sort of space ship. I suspect they were picked up from the water and dumped where the hurricane hit. Maybe they've been here all along and now need to expand their territory.
I haven't quite figured out if they are benevolent beings or actual nasty invaders who want to take over the world as in Independence Day.
