what is the big deal? Just take the course. Why do you feel that you have to be difficult.

I feel bad for the child because I see a difficult person refusing to follow the rules.

Are you going to refuse to let your husband see the child just because.

Even though the court does not have jurisdiction to decide custody now, does not mean that it does not have jurisdiction over you and your husband. The court could order you to go to counseling, mediation, whatever.

Take the friggin' course.
