The law allows for support if there is an express (which generally means written) contract based on non-sexual / relationship basis, i.e., household work, chores, personal assistant. YOu will probably have trouble to get the trial court to agree with you - judges really do not want to do this. Do a search on the internet for "palimony in Florida". I did one case and the judge dismissed it although the court of appeals and the supreme court recognize "breach of contract for support."
Look at the time / money you had with your partner as a gift and move on. Everybody told you to get married. (You know that I am right).
