You need to stay at home with your parents unless your being abused. If you are being abused then you should consult your local police station or 911. You will be 18 soon enough and then you can go to Texas. It is not as easy as you think to work and go to school. You said your friends mom knew somewhat of what your situation is. That parent needs to talk to your parent and make a legal adult decision. Going behind your parents backs will only make things worse! Can you talk to a councelor at school or a trusted female teacher? Don't do things behind your parents backs and like I said before if you are being abused tell the police if not go to counceling.
