Oh come on!!! If RIT and NU fans in their "golden years" can clap and actually make some noise, why can't ours?

Every year at the NU game at Gallagher, older fans heckle C-Block, same way at RIT. What makes our alums so different, especially if these stories about the fights following Bona-Canisius games are true?

Why did any of us Old or NEW Alums not make a stink when Beilein was about to leave & then settle for the crap that McDonald served us for 10 years?

It will take time for us and it all starts with winning, and especially winning at HOME.

It was the last three or four years under Mac where the problems really became obvious. Little could be done due to the difficulties the athletic department was experiencing more generally. The bottom line now is that we need to be supportive of Parrotta, but without drinking the koolaid.

I have supported the Griffs for over 45 years I had season tickets when they played at HSBC when only 1,500 showed up for games.Prior to KAC being remodeled there were only 65 season ticket holders now I believe they have around 300 I am not an alum. The support the Griffs get from past Alum. is a joke the only time you see the past players living in the area coming to games is when the school has special nights for them.I agree that the hype that the team was given before last season and the bad start made it hard to get excited about the team.

I agree that Canisius needs to support former players, but it should be a two way street here. The only former player I EVER see around is Tony Masiello.

Maybe the Cage Club could sponsor banners for former players?

For reasons I do not understand the coach and/or the AD have reduced the visibility and role of the Cage Club to a point where it may as well not exist. Right now the only "glue" that I see that ties the alums to the program is this Board, and the great work Griff does to administer it.

Buffalo Mike, you are well respected; talk to Maher as well as Parrotta.

This board is a nice vehicle but won't make a big difference in the end. Talking to those two might change things.
