Relatively uneventful. I'm always drawn to the new guys so I spent a good portion of the time watching Chris Gadley. If he can get himself in shape - not necessarily lose a lot of weight but build up his endurance to get up and down the floor - he will be a force offensively. Very strong (a bigger version of Rishawn Johnson) and consistently got position and backed TVS down when being guarded on the block. Chris also has much better range than I anticipated.
Other notables - TVS looks a bigger and stronger. He did some nice things offensively against Gadley. Rishawn Johnson and Greg Logins were held out of most of the practice due to a few nagging injuries. This team will definitely have a strong front line. Speaking of Logins - one source referred to him as by far been the best player on this team. Willie Hassell hit a few long range 3's during 5 on 5 / half court. Bob Bevilacqua has gotten bigger and stronger. Word is that he will receive this year's 13th scholarship.
Had an opportunity meet Brett Chance and AJ Hawkins. Two really engaging and humble young men. Both really seem to be enjoying things at Canisius.

All very good to hear.
If Logins can play like he did at the end of last year we'll be a tough team. It'll take pressure of Turner which I think really got to him last year.
If Gadley is as good as advertised we are going to have an unbelievable front line.
Where do you see bobby drinks stacking up in the lineup?

I think right now, Bobby Drinks starts with Frank, Elton, Logins, and TVS. Gadley will get plenty of minutes but will need to work himself into game shape before we can give any thought to him starting. Gadley, Hassell, Robinson, Goldsberry getting the most action off the bench.

Was able to watch a few minutes of practice on Wed. Gadley will certainly help, but the question is how many good minutes per game will he be able to provide. The key for this season will be the play of TVS, Frazier, and Logins. If these guys can step up, the Griffs will be in it. PS. The new turf on the Demske is just about completely installed, and looks great. The new locker rooms for both the guys and the girls located opposite the Training Room are coming along nicely.Go Griffs!!!!
