They're hard to watch. No floor leadership and we seem to crap our pants when we get in these situations. This team needs to show some heart and have the ability to mature and get past this. Fragile? I don't buy it; all summer we saw our guys test the NBA with regards to their readiness. This team needs to "man up" and someone needs to be the guy who wants to win the game. I'm disappointed as anyone but have thought by now after getting our butts kicked at Thanksgiving we would be playing with a chip on our shoulder. Defend Main Street; I've never liked this campaign and God help us on the 29th. Knowing this UB team and Nate Oates, they're going to come in to our place and kick our ass. We can only hope that Reggie, the coaches and the team do their best to "protect our house". Not sure we have that in our DNA.

I agree with the above comments.

The Griffs non-conference schedule didn't prepare them for MAAC play. It overwhelmed them. They weren't ready for the level of competition they went up against.

I don't think their preseason expectations were outrageous following last year. I had them going 19-11 (13-5). What I didn't expect was them collapsing against lower level competition.

I had Canisius going 6-6 in non-conference play and rolling the MAAC. They can still do well in the MAAC play but 13-5 seems moving forward.
