Subject: Very Balanced Effort Tonight

Too many turnovers and missed free throws but shot it really well in the second half and locked down defensively. Sanks continues to be on fire from 3, Faulkner had an all around very good game including a monster dunk, Molson continues to score, Reese is rounding into shape at the right time of the year, Malik struggled a bit early but then became his usual steady self, Hitchon continues to get better and played with great energy tonight, and Dantai gave them some solid minutes/scoring/rebounding/defense. All and all a great win and now 5-2 in the MAAC. And thank you for a home win!

The team played with determination and intensity most of the game which was good to see , didn't settle for 3's early in game and that may have set a tone of playing physical which then carried throughout the game, St Louis had maybe his best game probably because we played a more physical game . Gym only half full but good game atmosphere probably somewhat due to team intensity which kept game interesting for fans, the band adds to atmosphere at games and I applaud whoever is responsible for making it happen! Keep the intensity level going and we could salvage this season to be special at the end!

Good assessment Griff. After a poor first half, the
Griffs got it going probably playing their best 20 minutes this season. When the 3's are falling it really makes a difference. Glad to see Hitchon take and knock down those 3's from the top of the key. Sanks and Faulkner again getting the job done off the bench. Game at NU should be a good one. The Eagles had a good night in the loss to St. Peters, and rest assured they will be up for the Griffs. I expect the Gallagher will be packed. Go Griffs!!!

Johnson is so key to this team. When he picked up two quick fouls in the first half and had to come out, Monmouth really turned up the heat with their trap and press. The results turned the game around ,and the Griffs ended up with 10 turnovers in the half. Ugly ,with slow and sloppy passes. And guys not coming to the ball on passes. Reggie had to bring him back in with 4 minutes to go in the first half and, fortunately, did not pick up any more fouls. He was great in the second half.
