I actually think Malek got slighted. He is much better than a third team selection. In my opinion he is the most valuable Griff. He was truly the leader of this team, and without him the season would have been a disaster. Let's hope he plays well in the tournament. The Griffs have an excellent chance of advancing, but they will have to be at their best. Get it done, and go Griffs!!

Totally agree. I think he is our MVP and at least worthy of a 2nd team selection. I think he held us together during the Reese fiasco. Go Griffs

Congrats to both players. I agree, Malik should of been 2nd team for sure. He definitely stepped up after Isaiah left. The whole team stepped it up. I believe when Malik is playing more of a true point guard role, pass first attitude. He then gets everyone involved and also ends up with more points him self. Almost a triple double last game, 9 rebs, 12 assists is huge, and 10 pts on 5 shots. That's an amazing game that every one should be very proud of. Go Griffs!!

I thought the same thing. Malik does everything you need for a point guard on the floor. And while I don't know the inner workings of the locker room I have to believe his maturity helped keep the team from blowing up a few months ago.
