Reggie and Baron were safe hires, after being burned by TP. But safe hires have turned out to be stale hires. Time for some new blood, some new fire, someone who can connect with the CC community, which has a tremendous local alumni base that just is not excited.

Why not Pat Beilein, if he'd take the job? He has succeeded at D3 and D2 and it's clear he's going to be a DI coach at some point.

He has a recognizable local name, some in-state recruiting connections, is young and enthusiastic, and certainly working knowledge of the CC situation.

Why not now, with CC?

Could not agree more. Who is going to play next year? They have not recruited anyone. We already have a short bench, and Faulkner and Sanks are gone. We do not have a pivot player who can defend, let alone score. At this time of year, the better prospects are long gone. More projects and players no one else wanted. Warm bodies to fill out a roster. It has become a theme with this staff. Shame on them. The Program is in shambles,
to be honest.
