Subject: 17 Reasons for 17 Losses

1. Zero contribution from Johnson-Al’s to make up for loss of Crumpton’s scoring.
2. Loss of Isaiah Reese scoring all season because of his attitude.
3. 40 minutes of man-to-man defensive coverage fatigued a bench that only went 2 players deep.
4. Lack of a true post player for scoring and defense.
5. Pathetic rebounding because of continuous man-to-man coverage. Gave up too many offensive rebounds. Gave up too many fouls, too many shot clock resets for the other team.
6. Disgraceful foul shooting percentage.
7. Not enough scoring in the paint for easy baskets, too many passes side to side rather to the basket.
8. Not enough pick and rolls to basket, too much standing around, using your offensive set to catch your breath because of the continuous man-to-man coverage on defense.
9. Not enough foul shot attempts because of point 7.
10. Offensive set built around shooting 3 point shots; too many meaningless passes around the arc.
11. Building your offensive set around working down the 35 second clock. Using your offensive as a substitute for defense to keep the ball out of your opponents’ hands.
12. Rolling the basketball up the court while walking beside it results in the inability to establish a sound offensive transition after opponent scores.
13. Poor rebounding resulted in a non-existent transition game; every possession had to be slowly and methodically set up.
14. Faulkner and Sanks should have started every game and played at least 30 minutes each.
15. Too many turnovers.
16. Entire offensive and defensive game plan never changed and became extremely predicable regardless of the opponent. How do you beat Canisius? Play zone defense, shut down their inside game, and have Canisius shoot over your zone. Offensively, minimal dribbling, no more than 5 total passes from base line to base line and score within 15 seconds. Watch the two Niagara wins and the Monmouth game for the case study.
17. Coaching: The attitude reflects the leadership. RW was low energy, uninspiring, predicable, and rigid.

What would George Steinbrenner and Donald Trump say after this season, “Reggie you’re fired!”

Great posts, all across the board. Let's hope senior leadership is listening.

Well said. They need a new coach and assistants moving forward. Can you imagine if we won the tournament in a very weak conference, and played a 1 seed in the NCAA? Talk about a blowout!!!! And we cannot get a recruit to visit, let alone sign.

Embarrassed to be a fan of this team in its current state. Truly unfortunate.

Reggie and staff have to be shown the door.

I hope Bill Maher sees these messages from a very unhappy fan base. We deserve more. We need a young and energetic coach who is trying to establish himself. The easy way out is to keep RW around, and not make any changes. Go Griffs.
