This is a collective responsibility folks. If you want a better conference, donate more, and help fund raiser significantly more to build a new venue.

Long Ago indeed! Back in the Saturday night at the Aud days, when the students, alumni and general public showed up in large numbers. Back when freshmen couldn't play varsity sports and it was assumed they would play three more years. Back when Syracuse and the other big football schools hadn't yet really discovered basketball. But Jim Brown was on the Syracuse freshman team. Back when the Griffs were ranked as high as 6th in the nation. Back before the CC admissions gurus rejected Bob Lanier, who wanted to be only a Griff, and gave SBU the biggest gift in its' history, previously or since. Talk about "Aim Low". These days CC itself seems to be in a malaise, a funk weighted down by how to raise $35-40 million to complete Science Hall as originally envisioned and trying to sustain and grow the enrollment it the age of free tuition to the public colleges and SUNY. Perhaps the recently announced partnership with Catholic Health and the new Physicians Assistant program will start to snap CC out of the doldrums. Perhaps something will appear on the horizon for the Griffs also. But this past season was just depressing. Please no post-season buy in event.

Agree with BfloGriff, our ship as we knew it has sailed and is not coming back in any similar form, not sure what future does or can hold for school in general, if we've added some additional health related majors that is great, free tuition at suny schools and rise of UB basketball were not on my horizon five years ago, we need to catch or make a break for us somehow, I think for game setting we need to promote band more and create a setting for locals and families to come.
