The Griffs currently have 1 transfer out of the 386 transfer requests this year. It's not the coaches in most cases that cause the transfer IMO. The kids are now told by people around them, ex coaches and family etc. If you want to get to the NBA you need to transfer to a higher conference. Others that didn't get any playing time want to transfer down a bit and play. It's just the way it is now, it sucks. Kids need instant gratification in the world today it seems. Go Griffs!!

The NBA knows who Takal Molson is. He will have to sit out a year to pursue his college career elsewhere ,if he transfers. The motivation has to be his feeling that he will develop better playing at a higher level. Or he sees the handwriting on the wall that the Griffs are fading in the MAAC, and he does not want to struggle with the team moving forward. Cannot blame him any more than Oats leaving UB to coach in a major conference, for a lot more money. Mid major sports are potential stepping stones for both coaches and athletes.
