It's sad, but true. He was probably under-recruited in high school because of the personal issues.

If he transfers, the interesting thing will be to see what kind of (bogus) hardship he'll claim to get immediate eligibility. Otherwise, he sits for a year.

Can't see him getting a hardship. He'd be moving away from his family...

But I could see him getting to Seton Hall and being a role player. That's what kids don't get. Role players in the Big East don't go to the NBA. Kids who absolutely dominate in a mid-major conference actually get better looks because people aren't sure exactly how you'll do as a pro and may be willing to roll the dice. If you average 8 points a game at Seton Hall, you've sealed your fate.

You’re correct if he averages 8 points a game he will be lucky. He has a chance to also mature and develop his ability to lead. My understanding is that he is testing the waters and the door is open for him to return. We saw what happened wish Zach Lewis, left for UMass only to return to the MAAC.
