Exactly. Look at some of the comments from people whining about recruiting. Is that helping? By the way, who recruited Takal anyway? Isaiah's only offer was Canisius and Reggie helped develop him into a preseason POY. The same people that say RW and staff can't recruit, are mad that his past great recruits have chosen to follow the culture of the new NCAA transfer game, now at 678 transfer requests this year. Or just make a mistake and try to join the NBA way too soon. So to those people. Can Reggie recruit or can't he? Can't have it both ways. Have a little faith in Reggie and see what happens. Hitchon, White and Henderson also RW recruits, I think will surprise some next year. Hadzic, Rautins and Ford hopefully are ready to contribute. St.Louis had his best year last year, also thinking that will continue to improve next year. Reggie has now signed Jacco who looks to be a decent recruit, needs to bulk up a bit but looks to have some ability. Malik will be the key to next year. He will need to have his best year as a Griff and get everyone involved. If MJ is a pass first PG next year, we have the shooters to make shots. Malik should average over 10 points a game, but more importantly he should be averaging about 7 assists per game, about 2 more than last year, to have a good chance of success. Play as a team, grow as a team, win as a team. Go Griffs!

I don't disagree with BBD. But I think there is a feeling among many fans that the Reese situation was not well handled by Reggie or the staff and that also precipitated Molson looking for a so called "greener pasture". We know that "greener pastures" do not always turn out that way. There are obviously also those who feel the coaches are very ham-handed in their relations with the students, alumni and others in general. It's up to them to clean up that perception. So far there's no sign of a post-season banquet that could be an opportunity for mending fences. Anyone in the powers that be at Canisius paying attention? Someone needs to. If not, again do we have any volunteers for a grass roots movement to try to help? I hope some one time Cage Clubbers might think about it.

I’ve got news for you diehards, there isn’t going to be a banquet. I believe the Canisius Sports Hall of Fame induction took the place of the banquet.

Something tells me that coaching staff isn’t really interested in getting peppered with questions about Isaiah, Takal and why we can’t beat Niagara.
