As it currently stands by height. One more scholarship to give. Have to believe it's a point. Majesty Brandon certainly seems to make sense -

1) Malik Johnson - 5'10"- Senior
2) Gianni Ford - 6'2" - Junior
3) Sam Rautins - 6'3" - Sophomore
4) Jordan Henderson - 6'4" - Sophomore
5) Armon Harried - 6'4" - Freshman
6) Akrum Ahemed - 6'5" - Freshman
7) Jalanni White - 6'7" - Junior
8) Scott Hitchon - 6'8" - Junior
9) Dantai St. Louis - 6'8" - Senior
10) Corey Brown - 6'8" - Senior
11) Ivan Hadzic - 6'9" - Sophomore
12) Jacco Fritz - 6'10" - Freshman

I think Malik, White, and Hitchon are givens. I'll go with Ford and Henderson at the 2 and 3 spots. That's a pretty good group.

Not a lot of experience off the bench but you have to figure that Corey Brown will be the first big man. Best between Rautins, Ahemed, and Harried as a 2/3 and the soon to be named point to back up Malik as numbers 6,7,8. Hopefully St. Louis builds on his improvement last year, Hadzic develops, and Fritz surprises.

I don't think Ford fits except as a sub for a few minutes. We need a quality shooter at the 2 spot and he has a dismal record shooting 3's. I suspect Akrum is ready to start right away based on his high level prep success just as Zach Lewis was.

If we land Majesty, I see him playing the 2 and Henderson and Akrum splitting time at the 2 and 3 slots. Agree with your other assessments. Hopefully, Hitchon and White return bigger and stronger and that Ivan replaced his baby fat with muscle.

Majesty is barely 6 feet tall. No way, he and Malik man the backcourt.

Ford for a few minutes? He scored 23 in his last game at St. Francis against Mt. St. Mary's. If he returns healthy from his injury, they definitely view him as more than a few minutes a game guy.

I am not sure about Ford's abilities. Shot just 30pc in 3's and not much better in total FGPc at both St. Francis and at Blinn JC so unless he's totally retooled his shot.... And he's listed at 6'2" but that's a stretch. Hope,I am wrong.

Where in the world will our points come from? We have zero scorers! How can anyone be confident in that roster? And our two newest recruits did not have any other offers. Sound familiar?

Well for one you have to believe in guys getting better. Hitchon and White had some big games especially late in the year. You hope that becomes more consistent production.

Secondly, everything won't be running through Molson any longer. So definitely more opportunities for Malik and Henderson to score.

I think Ford will score and then you hope one or two of the new guys can too.

So you play to their strengths. Maybe they slow it down a little bit this year. You have to figure it out. Not many teams have 20 points a game guys coming back so you have to get creative as to how it will get done.

Could be a fun year. I'm not so much worried about points as quality size. If Hadzic, Corey Brown or St. Louis can offer defense and rebounding things should be okay. If not we'll be pushed around all season.

In responce to yogi's message, both of our new recruits had some other offers if you read articles about them not just looking at what was available on verbal commits, they are both potential scorers from the 2 or 3 spot, we never know who the points will come from until players are given the opportunity to play and see who steps forward, I think we can be excited about the possibilities this roster holds to be solid in all aspects of the game, there are few pure scorers today and points are more typically generated by the system being run and I believe we will see a return to a team passing the ball for open looks more like two years ago than last years team morphed into particularly with Molson lobbing up shots flat footed, we need to shoot the ball better , I think Henderson, Rautins and the new guys will be more likely to play than Bird unless Bird has totally changed his game, again it will be interesting to see how it may develop, hopefully our early schedule allows some opportunities for the team to play and be competitive unlike last year.
