They will miss Faulkner and Sanks when it comes to 3's. Molson was terrible from 3 last year. He took way to many trying to get his PPG up to transfer. Reese wasn't much better. Molson took 205-3's and only made 55 of them, that's 26.8%. Reese took 115-3's and made 35 of them 30.4%. They won't be missed for their 3's. For example Sanks made 49-3's on 146 attempts, that's 33.6%. Molson took 59 more 3's and made 6 more then Sanks. The Griffs best 3pt shooters % wise will now get a chance to take some shots. Hitchon took 56-3's and made 26 of them that's 46.4%. Reese only made 9 more 3's then Hitchon and but took 59 more 3 pt attempts. Molson took 149 more 3pt shot attempts than Hitchon did and only made 29 more 3's. Basically had to take 4 times the shots to make only twice as many. Henderson will also get to take more shots from 3 and he was better % wise by a long shot over Molson and Reese. I think we lost 2 good 3 pt shooters and that's it going by last years stats. Molson's game is not taking 3's by a long shot. He is best driving the basket. Faulkner only made 7 more 3's than Hitchon but it took him 32 extra shot attempts to get that 7 more. We will miss TM for other things then 3's. They are gone and we do need some more 3 pt shooters to step up or be recruited. I don't think it's as bad as you do though. Go Griffs!

Very good observations. Besides not shooting 3’s very well, Reese had attempted only a handful of free throws at the time he was suspended. He had essentially stopped going to the basket, which he had excelled at previously.. And Molson became a total gunner , often settling for forced 3’s when he did NOT have a good look at the basket. There is no doubt in my mind that going to the NBA workouts changed those two players. Instead of working on their deficiencies within a team concept, they turned their focus to their possible future in “the league”. The projected big season fell far short of the mark.
