I don't disagree at this point that it may be tough on a nightly basis.

The way I see it as possible, is obviously Malik gets more selfish and bumps his average by a couple of buckets a game to let's say 13. I would expect Jordan Henderson to at least double his to 7. Hitchon up a little to 10. White to 8. My 5th starter right now is Harried and I'm hopeful he could provide 8 a night. So there is 46 from the starters.

Brown will give them 8 off the bench as the first big guy. I'm hopeful that Brandon too can provide 8 and Ahemed 5 off the bench. So there's 67 and then whomever else steps up for minutes - Rautins, St. Louis, Hadzic, Fritz, or the 13th guy (if he doesn't have to sit out as a transfer) - should be able to provide 3+.

Certainly a lot of unknowns at this point, I think we will have balanced scoring with many different players capable of being the leading scorer, but I think our chances of winning will be based on better defense, rebounding and shooting than we had last year, all of which I think is possible with this team, we may not win more than two or three games in non conference play with all the new players breaking in but come conference time I would expect to be very competitive, I'm sure every team thinks they will be better this time of the year but I'm betting on Johnson giving us a competitive advantage in most maac games and if a couple of the newcomers can play at a high level we should be ok, maybe even pretty good, at least i don't think we will be as frustrated as last year, GoGriffs.

We can't afford another season which had too much drama off the court.

I think the drama of last season is history.. The losses of Reese and Molson may hurt in the short run but let's face it, neither were leading us to victories last year. Reese was in a funk and Molson was selfish and looking only for his points.

Now, with great prospects in Harried, Ahemed and Brandon, we have a chance to succeed if our returning big guys, Hitchon, White and Hadzic show the improvement we are expecting. We'll see how all the newbies adapt to D-I and Reggie's system. I for one am hopeful

Makes sense. Hope the freshmen can handle D1 competition.
