Yes, a oood second half propelled the Griffs after a first half where it looked like they were shaking off some rust. Good contributions from many players including Ahemed. He's very athletic. Would like to see Jacco have more than one shot attempt. Anybody know why Henderson didn't play? Go Griffs!

Henderson got his knee drain. He should be okay for Buffalo game. Heard his knee swell up the size of an orange in Florida and was in a lot of pain. 2nd time it's been drain in
a month.

Rautins didn't dress either for the Cross game. Hope both of these guys are available for UB since they are our best three pt shooters. What happened to St. Louis? He started the three games in Florida, and looked okay. Jacco has got to develop a shot. He doesn't pose a threat from the outside, and he is often wide open from about 15 feet, and passes up an easy shot. Also, let's hope the coaches address the rebounding situation. HC won the battle of the boards by a wide margin. Go Griffs!!!

I agree Jacco needs to produce more playing 30 minutes a game. He did have 1 good game and 2 decent games but he is a freshman and needs a lot of work still, mostly strength wise. Fritz has a bright future for sure. The last 3 games are kind of showing a pattern though. Maybe fatigue playing to much, 30 minutes a game 4.5 pts and 3.5 rebs average the last 3 games. The Griffs will need more White and Hitchon if they want to beat Buffalo. Hitchon hasn't been himself shooting % wise lately. Is that the knee or cardio or just lacking confidence since playing half the time of Fritz. Last 3 games for example averaging 14 minutes a game but still averaging 9.5 pts and 3 .5 rebs a game. If Hitchon is healthy he should be playing a lot more. White is coming around nicely, I was glad to see him get 25 mins last game. Hopefully Rautins and or Henderson are available for Wednesday nights game. A few 3's would be nice. But again that's a threat that Hitchon has that they don't seem to utilize. Some thing must still be wrong with Hitchon. Beat Buffalo! Go Griffs!

Malik was fantastic except for some uncharacteristic missed free throws down the stretch. He ran the show and kept things calm when Holy Cross made a few runs. His stats across the board speak volumes about how well he played.

Malik was an amazing force at both ends of the floor. His strip of the HC guard at mid court was incredible.

Agree that Jacco needs to do more than pass on offensive sets. He’s got a nice touch from the foul line and should look to shoot more from mid range.

Loved the improved play and aggressiveness of both Hitchon and White. Hitchon needs to learn how to finish inside despite physical defenders.

While Henderson sat, Aksum played well in his place, making some baskets off hustle and athleticism. It was nice to see him emerge and join Harried as an effective freshman. It will be interesting to see how they match up with UB’s athletes reason for hope.
