Subject: Something doesn’t add up

With a starting lineup of Johnson, Brandon, Hitchon, Harried and Fritz, with Henderson (healthy), Brown, White and Ahmed (out for a while with ankle injury), coming off the bench, we should beat lower level teams like Manhattan, even if they shoot well. We have to know all teams will pressure Malik, the best player on the court. Our body language at times is piss poor. Something is wrong somewhere.

We’ve seen it for 4 years. Not sure why it exists but there is something wrong. Our coaches need to recognize this. Stop ignoring that something isn’t right. Go Griffs!

We seem to play up or down to our competition. Today was an ugly day of Griff basketball. 0-3 in the MAAC, wake up guys the season will be slipping away before you know it.

This staff couldn’t make it happen with teams much better than this one, they aren’t making it happen with the players they have this year.

Somehow after 4 years, they still haven’t learned how to beat a zone defense.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, they are recruiting well and finding talent, they aren’t executing. We are back in the Tommy P years.

Whatever it is it needs to be fixed or we're never going to get over this hump. We're giving away games we should be winning.

They do recruit well and many of those "2 star" players develop well during their time at CC. That continues to be true with the current group IMO. But why is the team as a whole so"blah" this year? Tom P. redux, indeed. Does the coaching staff need an enthusiasm boost? 42 points?
