Even though we missed all 8 threes in the second half, I thought the team played much better defense and reduced the awful turnovers in the first half. Hitchon is showing why he was a top recruit for us and how well he can play in the post when he's aggressive and motivated. Too bad Jalanni is still in a daze most of the time.

Nice to see Henderson bounce back from an awful game vs. Monmouth and show his talent on both ends. Malik got in the groove again and Jacco seems to be increasingly comfortable, but still needs to use his skills to attack the rim on offense.

Too bad that Akrum is still out as he showed in his most recent outings that he can contribute quality minutes. Meanwhile, Harried has shown he can be a force when he plays under control and avoids turnovers. Needs to work on his shooting though if he's to be a star.

All in all, reason for hope after a woeful stretch of lousy games. If we can beat Siena and do so with authority, it will be a great win.

Big weekend coming up! This team is far from being a well oiled machine. The win at St. Peters however might have given our guys the lift they need to start playing well. The key once again will be the play of our guards Malek, Majesty, and Henderson. If they can do some scoring, and Hitchon plays under control we could experience a successful weekend. My big concern is the play of Jalanni, and Jaco. They have to toughen up, and do something inside. Go Griffs!!!
